We believe in a way of doing business that protects people's the environment well-being. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact in everyday processes and operations.

renewable energy
Aware of the importance of the origin of energy sources on the environmental impact of production activity, LEM has adopted a decisive energy policy, using 100% of energy from renewable sources and self-producing up to 10% of energy thanks to the continuously expanding photovoltaic system.

Internal training
Every year, LEM invests 1,600 hours in additional training for its 320 employees, beyond mandatory requirements. This amounts to roughly 200 working days dedicated to the professional growth of our team, reaffirming our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Ethical Sourcing
Thanks to our optimized production process, LEM uses recycled gold and palladium. As proof of this commitment, LEM is the first Italian company specializing in metal treatment and coating to achieve RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council) certification, ensuring traceability and responsibility in the ethical and sustainable sourcing of gold and palladium throughout the supply chain.

LEM certifications

RJC COP 2019EU
The Code of Practice is the reference standard for the jewelry supply chain. It addresses issues that weigh on the supply chain, promoting responsible business practices in terms of workers' rights, environment and business ethics. LEM is the first Italian company in metal processing certified RJC.

ISO 14001
Certifies that LEM has a management structure for the integration of environmental management practices, pursuing environmental protection, pollution prevention, and reduction of energy and resource consumption.

SA 8000
Social Accountability 8000 ensures that LEM respects an ethical management model that protects human and labor rights, preventing child exploitation and promoting safe and healthy working conditions.
